Rhino Quarries (PTY) LTD is an open cast mine in Randfontein, South Africa that produces crushed silica sand and stone for the construction industry. The quarry was established in 2003 and is estimated to have 52 million tons of resource at a tested depth of 30m. The silica sand resources at the quarry have been tested to be 94% – 99.2% silica (SiO2).
